Users can even try it free. Suppose I'm interested in coming up with My Logo Design on the site? Just choose one of three modes in which to do the design, then select the industry category for the company. LogoYes offers a choice of thousands of symbols, searchable by keyword. Pick a font and add a name and it is time to roll, moving and positioning elements to fit the designer's tastes and needs. I can even change the size or color for the various elements, and I can make them rotate or flip. Guess what – with this little bit of work, I have my logo! Now just create a matching business card based your logo design with just a couple of more steps.
All done with the designing? Now you can get the high-resolution files in EPS (Vector Image), JPG and GIF. These cost you $69 if you are interested in just a download of your the logo files. If you want to purchase a logo and matching business card design, you can do that for $99, at which point they throw in a coupon for 100 free business cards. Great deal!

While some folks prefer to use cash because of the ease in controlling their expenses, most people choose the ease and convenience of credit cards – just one swipe and your done! Credit card users find this practice to be more convenient and much safer, since they don’t need a lot of cash on hand.
Of course, not every shop or restaurant has a credit card machine, but most do. You check out and see the credit card machines at each register, waiting to be used. It makes it really easy to pay the bill.
Indeed, I think it has become essential for businesses to accept credit and debit cards for the convenience of the customers. Accepting credit cards allows you to serve more customers, which increases your profit. And if you need a credit card machine so that you can take credit cards, you ought to contact First Data Independent Sales.
First Data Independent Sales provides merchant services of all types, including E-Commerce, Retail, Restaurant, Phone Order and Wireless Services. For more info, please check out their website.

Why did the oyster cross the road?
It didn't -- oysters live in the water!
OK, it wasn't that funny.
Unfortunately, there is something else that isn't funny about Gulf oysters – we can become ill from the bacteria that they carry if we fail to prepare them properly. You need to be oyster aware when you eat oysters. Did you know that the consumption of undercooked oysters can result in a person becoming ill from the Vibrio vulnificus bacteria? At BeOysterAware.com, you can learn about the problems caused by Vibrio vulnificus and how to avoid the contamination. But to be honest, I guess I was the same way when I was young. I remember my first credit card. I ran that sucker up to the whole $500 limit, not realizing I couldnÂ’t carry the balance long term. I was fortunate to be able to turn to my folks for help. I learned some lessons through that experience.

Here’s how it works. Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code provides that no gain or loss shall be recognized on the exchange of property held for productive use in a trade or business, or for investment. Now what this means is that you have to make that capital gain and put that money back into a similar asset in such a way that you do not accrue an immediate cash profit to yourself. In effect, you are deferring taxes by making the exchange of the same sort of assets. So, for example, you could make tax-deferred exchange of one rental property for another, possibly by “buying up” into a better neighborhood or class of property, or by increasing the number of such holdings you have with the gain you made on the sale of the old asset. In effect, you increase your investment without needing to pay a large tax bill or plow in a lot of additional capital.

Well, one of the products I tossed in the suitcase was called Naked Naturals, a natural shampoo and conditioner that is good for your hair and the environment. What that means is that it contains natural ingredients rather than harsh chemicals. The samples I got in the mail were the Citrus and Keratin variety, which I found to be quite appealing in terms of scent and how the products worked. They left my hair clean and manageable, and – according to the claims on the product website – is 7 times more effective than a regular shampoo would have been in terms of hair flexibility and strength, as well as reducing breakage.
The other nice thing about this product is that it is all natural. Because of the lack of harsh chemicals, it does not over-lather or leave hair feeling brittle or stripped after washing and conditioning. Frankly, what more could you ask for in a product that is also good for the environment?

Of course, I've owned a great many clocks over the years. Most of them have been rather cheap, and not of high quality. But my favorite clock is the one given to by the school district to mark five years teaching there. It is a Howard Miller alarm clock, and each morning it wakes me for school. I simply love its beauty and reliability, and continue to be impressed by the quality. LetÂ’s be honest, IÂ’m surprised that the district gave us such great gifts. I plan on keeping for as long as it keeps running, which I expect to be a very long time. After all, this clock has turned out to be a very high quality one indeed.
When I got this gift, I had never heard of Howard Miller clocks My wife, though, had heard of them and was quite impressed. So was I, once she told me about them. I now know that Howard Miller clocks are among the best in the world – in particular their grandfather clocks. I hope that over the next few years, as we continue to work on our interior décor, that we will find the opportunity to include a few more Howard Miller clocks in our decorating scheme.

Now imagine the possibility if the forces of creation had just tweaked the oyster a little bit more. What if, instead of pearls and the delicacy of the flesh of the oyster, we got other things when we cracked open the oysterÂ’s shell? Right now, I think an oyster that produced gasoline when irritated by a grain of sand would be quite useful. Imagine a sea bed full of genetically engineered oysters off the coast of the United States allowing the country to become energy independent! Well, it makes for a nice fantasy.
Unfortunately, there is something else that we can get from Gulf oysters – we can become ill from the bacteria that they carry if we are not careful. You need to be oyster aware when you eat oysters, especially those you gather yourself. Indeed, the consumption of undercooked oysters can result in a person becoming ill from the Vibrio vulnificus bacteria. At BeOysterAware.com, you can learn about the problems caused by Vibrio vulnificus and how to avoid the contamination. If you love oysters, check out this site to make sure that you remain healthy.

However, we did have a couple of amusing experiences while in the Boston area, though not in Boston proper. We decided to take a drive up the coast, through New Hampshire and into Maine. The amusing part about it was the drive back down a two-lane highway. As we entered Seabrook, New Hampshire, we began seeing signs pointing towards a nuclear power plant. Now normally that would not have been something to attract our attention, except for the fact that we had recently moved into our house in Seabrook, Texas. We managed to get a picture of ourselves taken for that yearÂ’s Christmas card, standing in front of a sign reading SEABROOK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT. Yeah, we have a weird sense of humor.
The other bit of fun was seeking out Ken’s Steakhouse for dinner our last night in Boston. A 30 mile drive for steak – just because my wife likes their salad dressing! But still, it made for a neat anniversary dinner.
The folks at Trusted Tours and Attractions don’t just do Boston – they can help you see the best sites in many cities. For example, they can arrange for you to have a trip to one of my favorite childhood haunts, the San Diego zoo, or the many wonderful sites in Washington, DC. They have lot’s of great family vacation ideas!
By the way, they are running a contest right now. When you sign up for the Trusted Travel eNewsletter, you are automatically entered to win iPod Nano. So what are you waiting for? Get on over there and sign up for the newsletter and the great prize!

There are, of course, multiple occasions for sending out such greeting cards. After all, certain holidays have greeting card customs associated with them – Christmas being the most obvious example. However, birthday cards are also important because it tells the recipient that you have taken the time to learn about them as an individual and to not the special event. And by selecting an appropriate card, personalized with your business information, you associate the sense of good will with your business.

Personally, I’m fond of this card. You may ask why this one speaks out to me. Simple – who can resist a smile when one sees balloons? I personally find it tacky to send cards with gifts pictured on them unless you are sending a package along – but the balloons communicate the joy of birthdays past, especially from our childhood years.

Take, for example, the Dymo LabelWriter line that is designed for business use. Each of these printers has a number of great features, allowing you to print different types and sizes of labels needed for your business. Indeed, the printing speed is fantastic – for example, the LabelWriter 400 Turbo has the capacity to spit out 55 labels in a minute – nearly one a second. That is just plain amazing! And not only that, you can print a href="http://global.dymo.com/enUS/Home/default.html">online stamps on the LabelWriters using the No-Monthly-Fee DYMO Stamps™ postage labels that are made for these printers. That saves you from having to deal with stamps – just print your own postage from a USB printer hooked to your computer!

I remember those words in ads when I began my first job search years ago, fresh out of college. But let’s be honest – I didn’t have any experience, and I didn’t see how I could have gotten any while working on my degree. After all, that degree was supposed to be the key to getting that first job and acquiring that experience – right?
What I didn’t realize was that there had been opportunities during my college career to apply for internships in my chosen field and thereby get some of that much-desired work experience. I would have been much more marketable if I had. And if you fast forward two decades into today’s world, you will find that the same dynamic is at work – and that internships are even more important for students who are graduating and seeking that first job.
The Internship Institute is a program devoted to helping students with the College Recruiting and post-collegiate employment experience by making internships more readily available and more standardized in terms of their content. And since such internships are becoming a graduation requirement at more and more colleges, they are proposing that one half of the tuition paid by college students for their internships be set aside to create internship readiness centers, thereby closing the gap between school and work. Check out the proposal at their website, located at http://www.internshipinstitute.org/.

Take, for example, this site that I recently ran across. It does a great job of mixing the efficiency of the internet with the human need to find enjoyable sustenance. For example, at the Restaurant Calgary site I found a large listing of restaurants that are conveniently situated on the siteÂ’s the digital map. Using that map, you can easy to find where a particular restaurant is located.
Similarly, on the Restaurant Vancouver site you can locate any number of fine dining establishments by use of the digital map. All you have to do is determine the type of cuisine, the style of dining, and the part of town where you will be dining and you can find exactly the sort of restaurant you want. So, for example, the next time I visit my folks and we make a day trip up to Vancouver, we can just hit the internet and find an Italian restaurant with reasonable prices and a spectacular view. You know – things that out-of-towners don’t usually know about but that can be key to making a fine dining experience.
You get the same sort of convenience at the Restaurant Toronto site. Just choose which the relevant categories, part of town, and amenities to narrow the search. Once you find that special restaurant, then you can find the details of the restaurantÂ’s location so you can get there conveniently.

I do, of course, comparison shop for insurance, even though IÂ’ve been content with my insurance company -- every year I compare auto insurance rates to find out if I am really getting the best available deal, as well as for the insurance on my house. That can be a time-consuming task, though, checking with different companies to determine what the best available rates are and then comparing the different bells and whistles of each.
Over at Autonetinsurance.co.uk, you can find some really great deals on all types of insurance. This includes Business Insurance of all types. As I compared what they had to offer, I was surprised to see how low the rates could be. So if you are located in the UK, why donÂ’t you drop by their site and see if they can save you some money on the insurance that you need. After all, what have you got to lose except the higher price you are paying now?
