I could be wrong about this, but I think he was such a fuck-up, that the TANG decided let's just get rid of his sorry ass and give him the "honorable" and make him a civilian again. I'd be real curious to see what his actual reenlistment code is on his DD 214, that would tell me a whole lot.

Hey Asswipe, I was released early becuse I decided I was sick of the stupid, petty bullshit, and they were sick of my attitude. I was sick to death of dumbfuckery like making experienced airmen do "basic-training" hospital corners on their bedding again, and stupid shit like having unsecured circuit breaker panels, that allowed anyone to cut power to your room so your alarm didn't wake on time. Like I said I think I know his story, only I wasn't a "trained pilot" that needed an IP in the plane after two and one half years of "flying". So the Air Force didn't waste nearly as much money on my enlisted ass as they did on "Boy-King's"

What more could I have done? Getting bounced because i couldn't pass the physical because of a back injury from a car wreck in which i was a passenger is hardly a sign of my "not trying hard enough." And given my dad's senior position on the largest training base in the US Navy -- and the fact that we met with the head of navy recruiting for the Midwest (a friend and neighbor) to see what could be done to get past the concern about my back, my conscience is clear in that regard.

I would've joined one of the Armed Forces, and tried to, but alas was not allowed. My brother was a Marine. His son is a Marine now in Iraq, 2nd tour. My sister in the Air Force and her husband is in the Army National Guard.
BTW, a sign of intelligence usually doesn't start with the letter "F".

And as the FBI report points out, the claims of the detainees are UNVERIFIED -- and, as we have discovered from al-Qaeda training manuals, one of the things that al-Qaeda members are told is to make claims of torture for propaganda purposes.

"Possible" torture? I thought you and Durbin insisted that it was true, verified, and Gospel certain. Seems to me that you are now coming around to my position -- namely that we don't even know if the claims by captured al-Qaeda enemy combattants are true.
And it should be clear that they do not rise anywhere near the level of the evils cited by Durbin as comparable. His comparison to the Holocaust by itself constitutes a trivialization of that mammoth evil that, in my opinion, is no different than Holocaust denial.
And thanks for making it clear that your loyalty to this country lasts only as long as you approve of government policy, and that you are ready to commit treason by taking up arms against the lawful government of the United States.
