George Clooney -- Terrorist-Lover

Not one penny of mine will go for any movie featuring George Clooney. Not one george Clooney movie or television show will be watched in my home.

After all, Clooney admires terrorists and has contempt for America.

LET George Clooney explain why the suicide bombers in his "Syriana" are sympathetically depicted as pious heroes while all the Americans in the movie are greedy or homicidal cynics. "They [the terrorists] are, in a way, the most sympathetic, but I think that's important," Clooney said in a videotaped interview shown on Fox News Channel. "Because if you are going to fight a war on terror, which is not a state that you can go and bomb, then you need to understand what it is that creates the people who would do such horrible things, rather then just saying - labeling them as evildoers."

I wonder -- does he really believe that the Cindy Sheehan/MoveOn crowd and the Islamist community are big enough to sustain his career?

1 I concur. There is a " Red Star Over Hollywood" for sure...
I will not support them either, including the latest Hollywood hack movie, "Munich".

2 I think we need to understand why they do what they do also, so we can track them down and fight them more effectively. But, understanding them does not mean not labelling them as "evil doers". Why does Clooney have difficulty understanding that the two are not mutually exclusive?

3 #1, I'm not sure that linking to the "NY Post online edition: Gossip" is the best way to prove your point. #2, if you aspire to be an above-the-line blogger, you should consider explaining how you've deducted that "Clooney admires terrorists and has contempt for America."

Empathy, or even sympathy doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with admiring terrorists. In fact, I think he does a pretty good job of explaining that away with:

"...if you are going to fight a war on terror, which is not a state that you can go and bomb, then you need to understand what it is that creates the people who would do such horrible things, rather then just saying - labeling them as evildoers."

4 You may not have noticed, but i cite from a variety of sources around here. For you to pick one and make a generalization based upon it is intellectually dishoinest.

Second, the terrorist-lover George Clooney clearly finds the enemy in the war on terror much more sympathetic than his fellow countrymen (and by the way, George, where exactly did all that cash from your 9/11 fundraiser go?).

And in the end, I don't give a flying f*ck what creates them -- all I care about is what makes terrorists dead. After all, they are the pirates of the 21st century -- the enemy of all humanity.

5 I'm curious, though, since you are posting from LA -- are you in the employ of the terrorist-loving Mr. Clooney? And if you are, how do you reconcile taking his cash with being a good American?
