The Hatemonger's Islamist Ball

Look who turned up at Iran's Holocaust Denial Conference.

Iran held a gathering that included Holocaust deniers, discredited scholars and white supremacists from around the world on Monday under the guise of a conference to “debate” the Nazi annihilation of six million Jews.

Among those representing the United States was the former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, whose prepared remarks, issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said the gas chambers in which millions perished actually did not exist.

Robert Faurisson, an academic from France, said in his speech that the Holocaust was a myth created to justify the occupation of Palestine, meaning the creation of Israel.

That is what IranÂ’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has frequently claimed, and it was Mr. AhmadinejadÂ’s statements that inspired the Foreign Ministry to hold the conference. The ministry said 67 people from 30 countries were participating in the two days of meetings.

In a welcoming speech, Rasoul Mousavi, head of the Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies, said the session would provide an opportunity to discuss the Holocaust “away from Western taboos and the restriction imposed on them in Europe.” In several European countries, denial of the Holocaust is a crime.

An accompanying exhibition also denied the Holocaust. One poster with three photographs showed dead bodies and described accounts of their gassing as a myth. Signs pointed to smiling prisoners freed at the end of the war with the label “truth.”

New captions in Persian on other pictures of corpses described them as victims of a typhus epidemic in Europe, not of the Nazi death machine.

I bet my recently0-banned troll Ken Hoop is positively orgasmic reading these accounts, having spent months espousing just such lies here.

And I ask the world -- is this a nation that we can allow to get nuclear weapons, especially given the stated objective of its president to complete the task tha he denies hitler began?

1 I never thought I would approve of banning someone - a few right wing sites (like AntiMedia and Matt Margolis) have banned me because I pointed out factual errors that embarrassed them.  I tend to view banning commenters as a chicken-s### way to avoid having to defend your views.

BUT - thank you for banning Hoop.   Not only were his views reprehensible, but he was sooooo vociferous and pointless that he choked off more interesting conversations.  I didn't comment here nearly as much as before simply because it seemed a waste of time.

Keep up the good work on the blog.

2 Frankly, I kept him around for entertainment value as much as anything else. But in recent days he had become more and more unhinged, and had even begun making what appeared to be threats against me. It was time for him to go.

3 Yes ban all who dissent from the accepted worldview of the holohoax.

Your mentality is that of the Jews and multiculti's who have made the Holohoax the only part of the history of man which is not up for discussion and debate. The Holohoax is a devout religion for you morons and people like myself and Ken Hoop are considered as heretics for asserting that the story is full of holes.

Without going into the mountains of evidence that proves that the Holohoax is largely an myth built on distortions, half truths, and outright lies used first by the Soviets to demonize the Germans and then the Jews to attempt to set a guilt trip upon the people of the world, the fact that laws are in place that put people in jail for questioning the Holohoax is proof that their story is full of holes.

If the research of the revisionists, some of which attended the Iran conference, could be refuted and disproved then they wouldn't be putting people in jail for researching the hoax.

I am proud to say that the National Alliance will be having a revisionist conference of our own on Memorial Day weekend in 2007.

I am also proud to say that I am a Holocaust survivor. Yes I survived the guilt trip of the holohoax..

Keep on banning those who speak the truth. You will remain righteous in your own world and mind.

4 Hmmmmm.....

Is Fuse Communications of Cinncinnatti a Neo-Nazi front -- because this is the second Holocaust-denying troll I've gotten from that server.

Unless, of course, it is KKKen Hoop posting under a different name, and finally finding an IP from Fuse that I have not banned. I strongly suspect the latter.

I think the above rant speaks for itself and needs no reply, for the manifest evil it contains does more to refute itself than any weak words I might type.
