1 Ron Paul is a Constitutionalist and a damn fine one at that.

Despite what you say, he did win the Fox poll last night by a whopping 33% - which absolutely no one is talking about. If Guiliani or McCain had hit those numbers you'd never hear the end of it. Like it or not Paul's message is what people want to hear - Less Government and legislators and judiciary that follow the laws of this country.

I think Republicans ought to be listening to that message, because last I knew our Republican leaders have not been acting very Republican. They've been busy growing government and spending like drunken sailors, and on top of that they have expanded the reach into our homes and instituted moves towards universal mental health testing of all school aged children as well as violating the 10th amendment with NCLB.

You may not like Paul's stance on the war and isolationism (which I am still trying to sort out for myself) - but his other messages of smaller government and less taxation is spot on as far as I am concerned.

Pity the mainstream media continues to ignore him on purpose, and marginalizes him, so he does not get to spread his message however the Internet is doing that job just fine.

2 The isolationist stance, which in 1941 would have had him saying that Pearl Harbor was America's fault because of our presence in Hawaii and the Philippines, renders all the rest irrelevant.

I want a strong America.

Ron Paul would be worse than anyone other than Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel in that regard.
