Neat Article On Baldilocks ' And Her Obama School Fundraiser

A reasonably fair article, too.

Now for those of you who have forgotten about the fundraising campaign, I'd like to direct you back to the original piece I wrote on it, lending my support (after I contributed to the effort, putting my money where my mouth is on the issue).

Unfortunately, fundraising has been slow, as information about the effort has not gotten much coverage.

She rushed to fill the financial void, forming a California nonprofit to funnel money to the African school. With a flair for drama, she named it "Save Senator Obama Kogelo School" and held a mini fund-raiser. She's raised $3,500, so she's a long way from the $750,000 she wants to raise within two years.

This isn't just politics. It is also an opportunity to work wonders in the lives of impoverished people who need your help. Several years ago, friends from church started a ministry that has done wonders for Kenyan orphans. The effort to save this one school in one village has a similar potential to improve the lives of the people of one village. I'd like to encourage you to consider a donation to this effort to fulfill the promise made and broken by Barack Obama.
