One of these summers, my wife and I will have to make a trip to New York City for a vacation. Believe it or not, IÂ’ve never actually been there. On the other hand, my wife has several times, and she tells me that she knows a number of spots that she would love to take me. Perhaps most interesting would be the chance to take in a Broadway show or two, as well as visiting the museums. Of course, I wouldnÂ’t mind taking one of the more formal New York City tours that are available, too.

And then again, I’d love to take my wife for several days in Chicago. There are always things to do in Chicago. There is almost always baseball in town – Cubs and Sox, so you can see some of the best players from both leagues! And then there are the many great restaurants for to visit -- stop for pizza at Uno’s or Due’s, sample the ethnic cuisine in one of Chicago’s many neighborhoods, or perhaps subject yourself to the experience that is Ed Debevic’s!
