PETA Kills Puppies – And Kitties, Too!

PETA wants to take away your chicken nuggets and ban your perfume and drugs because of animal testing, but guess what – they kill most of the pets left at their animal shelter. Yeah, that’s right – it isn’t a no-kill shelter.

Between 1998 and 2003, PETA put to death over 10,000 dogs, cats, and other creatures that the group publicly calls “companion animals.” Not counting those that PETA held only temporarily -- for spaying or neutering -- the group killed over 85 percent of the animals it took in during 2003.

That’s right – the $29,000,000 they took in last year wasn’t enough for the “animal cruelty/animal rights” organization to make sure the animals went to good homes.

Look at the numbers – they are shocking.

Fortunately, the Center for Consumer Freedom is blowing the whistle on them with a Times Square billboard.

1 I wonder if their brainwashed children-terrorizing zombie-members will still send PETA money now that it's public knowledge that PETA is as cruel to animals and pets as the groups they protest?

2 First thing I noticed is that the number of animals is going down while the kill percentage is going up. That link to the figures is a bit messed up. Probably a blank space in there or something like that.

3 That was mentioned last summer on Penn & Teller's "Bullshit" on Showtime. (Great show by the way)Also another point made on the show is that PETA is "against all forms of medical testing involving animals" and medications that come from animals, yet the head honcho is diabetic, and takes insulin - which comes from (I believe) horses... hypocrite much?
