Voice Of The Fifth Column

The enemy within.

Arab-American voters are abandoning the Republican Party in large numbers and only 10 percent of them want the United States to stay in Iraq.

* * *

Only one in 10 Arab-Americans wish for U.S. troops to stay in Iraq until they achieve "victory." Almost a third would prefer they leave immediately and more than half think they should withdraw gradually, according to a new poll released by James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute Thursday.

Given recent survey results showing that a frighteningly large proportion of US Muslims support suicide bombings and other terrorists activities, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Given that numerous Arab and Muslim groups are intimately involved in funding the terrorists, we shouldn't be shocked.

Indeed, we need to be vigilant and aware -- for like what we have seen in Great Britain, it is likely that the next terrorist attack in this country will come from home-grown jihadis.

1 Dear Greg,

This is the first time i visit this site/blog or whatever it is.

I found this post of yours very funny.
Because from your text i guess you are a patriotic American. A foolish one.

Ill explain myself..
You are blinded by your own way of thinking.
You just see what you believe in and nothing else.
There is no Islamic enemy there is just a bunch of sick people who arent even 'real' Islamics.
They call themselfs Islamics because in the case that Americans are so stupid to fight their war on terror and point it to Islamic people then the whole Islamic community turns against America result: total chaos. That is what they want.

The funny thing is there are always 2 sides of things.
Perhaps the American arrogance and stupidity and corruption IS THE CAUSE of those 'terrorists' to hate America so bad that they want to destroy it.

Maybe America is the cause of its own 'terror'?

When i say 9/11 is set-up by US government to gain enough reasons to invade a country.
You will probably think ooh there is another one of those idiots who believe its a conspiracy..
I think it is planned by the US government but i keep the option open for terrorist attack.
You should do the same but perhaps you want to do it the other way around. Thats fine.. as long as you keep the option open. Because only a fool will say: it was a terrorist attack.
The wise will say it 'probably' was a terrorist attack but there are other options as well.

Ooh btw you should really watch Raw Deal: A question of consent.
Really good docu and shows something about the modern US kids.. Yeah real respectfull people.

Perhaps americans lack of respect and overdone arrogance is the reason for all the mess its in.

One more question.. why is America so concerned about Irak while in Darfur there is a genocide going on. Or is there no money to gain there?

God bless America! Or is that very egoistic to say? because who are you to say that he bless America? Should be more like: May god bless America! Dont you think? Well.. maybe he forsaken america for its corruption and greed. Who knows..

Good luck with your blog and sorry for any typo's but im not from an English speaking country so..

Bye!

2 Since you don't speak English very well, I'll excuse you for not realizing that in our language "God bless America" has essentially the same meaning as "May God bless America".

As for the rest of your post -- the minute you reject the notion that 9/11 was a terrorist attack, you take all credibility from what you have to say on the entire issue.

3 And Light -- if you are going to make the argument that I should keep my ind open about 9/11 being a government plot, maybe you should keep you mind open about the possibility that Theo Van Gogh was murdered by the government of the Netherlands (where you are posting from) and not the Muslim extremist who was convicted of the crime. After all, if you are going to insist that other folks question KNOWN FACTS about 9/11 (bin Laden himself even admits responsibility for 9/11), then why not question everything. Heck, maybe we can even keep an open mind about whether your father is really your father -- maybe Mom got a "special delivery" from the local postman. Do you see the absurdity of your "open mindedness: argument in such cases?

4 I must say you are well informed.
Theo van Gogh got killed by a man who didnt like Theo's way of saying things about the Islam.
The government had nothing to gain in his death.

A better example would be Pim Fortuyn.
If you mentioned him then yes.. i agree perhaps that was the government because there was so much to lose for them.
The man who did it wasnt a Moslim person so i guess thats why he was not worth mentioning?

Anyhow your saying that "bin Laden himself even admits responsibility for 9/11"..
This doesnt mean a thing.
Just imagine that the government was behind it all.. Imagine the honour which there is to gain for some people in attacking the center of America's heard.
And besides that Bin Laden needs chaos to rule. What if he claimed he did it so he gained the chaos and the honour from it?
The US government then has enough reasons to fight their war for oil and bloodmoney in Irak.
Win-win situation dont you think?
Im not saying this is what i think but its just one of the many many options.

Every day many American soldiers, locals and sometimes dutch soldiers die in a totally unwanted war.

Now the discussion started about wether the American (and Dutch as well) should retreat from Irak/Afghanistan the situation will only get worse.
The locals wont give any information about the Taliban because if they do and the American/Dutch leave in 1 year time they will all be executed.
They can only be of great help if they are sure that 'we' stay there for a longer period of time.

Although there is no victory in any ways i hope America will clean up the mess they made..
The only thing the Irakis want is peace at last.
I hope they will finally get their peace some day.
