Jimmy Carter -- Holocaust Denier?

That is what it sounds like, if you consider this aspect of his new book.

We know what happens when the right of Jews to exist is denied, but Carter has forgotten. The "Historical Chronology" at the beginning of his book starts with Abraham and grows more detailed in modern times. But between 1939 and 1947 there is . . . nothing!

In the text, the history of Jewish suffering is accorded five lines, and the Holocaust is barely mentioned in passing. But as both Hanukkah and Christmas remind us, Jews are history's most persecuted people, and Israel, where we started, is our last, best refuge. Carter's bizarre book is a poisoned holiday gift for Jews and Christians, and a danger to Jews throughout the world.

You read that right -- Carter leaves the Holocaust out of the history of the Jewish People in his book, and only briefly alludes to it. I guess he has joined Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and David Duke (as well as my recently-banned Troll, KKKen Hoop) in viewing the Holocaust as a hoax. After all, how else does one explain the omission of the greatest evil of Carter's lifetime from a book in which he indicts the victims for the offense of genocide?

3 CARTER FAR FROM BEING "A MAN OF PEACE"

In the Presidential debate of Oct. 22, 1976, Carter stated that he did not favor a constitutional amendment to outlaw abortion, and he would only work within the confines of the Supreme Court ruling to minimize the NEED for abortions. That is like saying, “I’m against slavery, but I will not work to change an unjust law, lets just work to reduce the NUMBER of slaves.”

On Nov. 2, 2005 on the "Larry King Live" show (CNN) Carter again confirmed he has a twisted sense of morality: "I think Roe v. Wade, if interpreted very strictly, is OK in our country." In other words, Carter, as with many Democrats, is against abortion, yet he approves of it! This is not the sign of a person who has a clear sense of justice. But what else is new? It is well known that the vast majority of politicians in the US Democratic Party have very shallow moral values.

Many people often view Carter as "a man of peace." But that is far from the truth - he, along with most Democrats, is actually a "destroyer of peace" because he approves of abortion, a violent act against a "human being" in the womb. Revealing their inability to define the true meaning of "peace," the credibility of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee came into question in 2002 when they awarded double-tongued Carter a peace prize.

5 greg. I heard a recording of carter speaking somewhere. I don't know exactly what his "talk" was about or to whom it was addressed but he said something along the lines of " the supposed holocaust". I was wondering if you ever heard it and if you could lead me to a recording of it I could send my debate buddies?
